What is Voilà SNAP?+
Voilà SNAP is the digital disposable camera for your wedding. With SNAP switched on, every photo, voice message and video message your guests record inside Voilà goes straight into your gallery — with no second try and no sorting out beforehand.
Do we have to use SNAP?+
No. SNAP is a switch in your dashboard that you can turn on and off at any time — even during the party. With it off, your guests upload photos from their camera roll as usual.
Why are candid photos better?+
Because hand-picked photos show the wedding people want to show. Spontaneous ones show the wedding that actually happened: the blurry laugh, the tear mid-sentence, the look between two people. Those pictures only survive when nobody gets to delete them first.
Can guests still upload from their camera roll?+
Yes. SNAP only applies to what is recorded inside Voilà. A lovely shot from earlier in the day can still be uploaded. If you want recordings made at the venue only, also switch on “Camera only” — the camera roll then disappears from the upload screen.
Can guests record several things in a row?+
Yes, one after another: the recording is uploaded first, then the camera is free again for the next moment. That keeps every recording a decision of its own.
What if someone just reloads the page?+
Then they can start over — that cannot be prevented technically, much like a screenshot in a typical photo app. SNAP is an invitation to spontaneity, not surveillance. In practice that is plenty.
Can we cap the number of uploads per guest?+
Yes, that is a separate setting: “Limit uploads per guest” with 20, 30 or 40 recordings. Use it alongside SNAP or entirely on its own.
Is Voilà SNAP included in the price?+
Voilà SNAP is part of the Premium plan — together with voice and video messages, video uploads and 12 months of storage.
